A fabulously successful marketing strategy recently adopted by the local slave emporium was the introduction of ‘rental slaves’. Bucks could be had for a fraction of the purchase price and, depending on the customer’s pocket book, used for short or longer periods of time.
Even those customers who may have easily afforded the purchase value of a buck in his prime often resorted to rentals as a way of ensuring wide variety, which was then easily disposable.
Of course, the option also existed to ‘rent to buy’, which afforded a potential customer an extended period to…get to know…the product.
